  • Four Nine Ounce Mugs: This set of 4 earthenware mugs, each holding 9 oz with a deep cylindrical body and generously looped handle, displays the full Christmas Tree motif on a cream ground: Father Christmas at the crown, the decorated evergreen, and wrapped presents at the base, enclosed by a green banded border.
  • Holdway's Christmas Morning Inspiration: Harold Holdway's 1938 pattern began as a design for dinnerware, but Spode's conviction that it belongs on every table element has carried it to the mug, where it meets you from the first coffee on Christmas morning to the last cocoa of the evening, matching the coordinating Christmas Tree collection.
  • Through Hands To Kitchen: Each mug in this set is made from earthenware that passes through 22 pairs of hands during production, a standard reflecting Spode's approach to making since its founding in 1770. These mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, making them as practical for daily use as they are decorative for the Christmas table.
  • Service Ready: At 9 oz, each mug holds a full serving of coffee, cocoa, or mulled cider, sized for a comfortable, satisfying drink. The cylindrical form keeps drinks warm, and the four-mug set covers a full table for Christmas morning, a Boxing Day brunch, or a family evening by the fire.
  • The Range Grows Yearly: The Christmas Tree collection has added new pieces every year since 1938, now spanning mugs, plates, serveware, and seasonal accessories. Founded by Josiah Spode, the brand pioneered blue underglaze transfer printing and fine bone china, and brings over 250 years of ceramic expertise to every piece it produces.
