Indespensible for all kinds of food preperation, jams, compote, soups, puree,sauces and baby food, the included 2 discs process fruits and vegtables in different ways. The 2 interchanchable discs 2.0 mm & 3.0 mm appear similar , but 2.0 mm has a rough surfaces for processing fibrous items like leeks, asparagus and other stringy vegtables. The three point hooks on the base allow for a safe and stable hold on pots and bowls, stays flat to stay above the processed fruits and vegtables.
