Trim wick to ¼” before lighting. Always trim wick before each use to avoid a smoky burn. As the candle burns down, gently fold the edges inward toward the center, allowing the maximum melting of all wax. Keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Storage Store candles in a cool dry area. Candle tapers should be stored flat in a box or drawer to prevent warping. Use an old nylon stocking to clean and polish candles. Caution Extinguish candle and trim wick if smoke is observed. Tealight candle should fit snugly into holder. Candles that fit loosely or even too tightly can tip over or move within the holder.
