It's time to strap on your hunting stick and see if you have what it takes to be a detective - but hurry, or others will solve the case before you.
In Crazy Sherlock, you must identify five clues related to the crime: the color of the criminal's eyes, his height, his accessory, the location and the time. The game contains 18 clue cards divided into these five categories. To start, you set aside one card from each category, shuffle the remaining cards and deal them out as evenly as possible.
When the round begins, you start a 15-second timer. Each player has this time to look at their cards, after which they pass them to the person on their left, the timer restarts and they can look at their new cards. They continue to pass the cards around until someone takes the announcement token, which stops the timer. That person makes a guess from each clue category, then looks at the cards separately. If she is correct, she receives a task token showing 1; if she already has a task token, she wins the game.
If she is wrong, she loses a task token (if she has one), and then the round continues, except that this person passes the cards but is not allowed to guess. Play continues until someone guesses correctly or only one player remains, in which case that player automatically wins.
In the "Doctor Watson" variation, each player takes a voting token at the start of the game, and when someone announces their guess, they reveal a "Doctor Watson" card.
