  • The Look Of Slate: Each coaster reproduces the look of natural slate, with the greys, browns, rust and charcoal veining of real stone caught in a close-up print. The six coasters vary slightly from one to the next, so the set has the uneven, characterful feel of slate quarried from the ground.
  • Six In Earth Tones: Six coasters come in the set, enough for a full table or a drinks tray, and each is a 4.13 inch square that takes a tumbler, mug or wine glass with room to spare. At 5mm thick the board sits flat and solid and will not slide when a glass goes down on it.
  • Sealed Against Spills: A sealed lacquer coating makes each coaster heat and stain resistant, holding a hot mug or cup at up to 212°F (100°C) and wiping clean of wine, coffee and cocktail spills with a damp cloth. To keep the finish sharp, keep the coasters out of the dishwasher and do not let them soak.
  • Cork Backed Base: A cork back protects the table from heat rings and scratches and stops the coasters slipping on a smooth top. The natural stone look suits modern, industrial and rustic rooms, works well at cocktail parties and dinners, and pairs with the coordinating Earth Slate placemat.
